Kate and Drew are such a fun couple.  Their engagement session had originally been scheduled for a date back in September but due to rain, and the fact they live in Colorado (SO cool) we rescheduled for a date when they would be home for the holidays.  When Kate and I talked about her engagement session she immediately said she wanted to shoot in downtown Annapolis.  She wanted that nautical feel and she loved Annapolis so downtown Annapolis was the perfect place given the harbor, marina and various other quaint places in walking distance.

Not only were we able to capture some of their session on the water, we also made our way through the narrow streets of downtown Annapolis stopping at the Capitol building on our way to St. Johns College, where Kate and Drew will be married in March, before making our way to Jonas Green Park.  Throughout our session I got to know Kate and Drew better, what little things made them laugh, and watch their oh so evident love right before my eyes.  I am so thrilled to have them as my first wedding of the 2017 season and am so excited to share a few of my favorites from their engagement session!
